Your first appointment
We start by talking: your history, previous injuries or operations, and the situations in which the pain appears. Then we examine you — mobility, strength, load capacity and how you move. On that basis we explain which methods make sense and what you can realistically expect, and we treat you for the first time in the same session.
Please bring: your doctor’s prescription if you have one, comfortable clothing, and any medical reports or imaging.
Insurance and billing — for international patients
In Germany, physiotherapy normally requires a prescription from a doctor (Rezept or Heilmittelverordnung). With that prescription we bill your statutory health insurance (gesetzliche Krankenversicherung) or your private insurance directly. Statutory insurers usually charge a small patient contribution per prescription; your insurer can tell you the exact amount.
If you do not have a prescription, or if you are not insured in Germany, you are welcome as a self-payer. We tell you the cost before your first appointment and issue an invoice for the treatment.
Our team speaks English. If anything about the German system is unclear, call us on 030 890 912 50 and we will walk you through it.
