What can sports therapy help with?
Sports therapy is more than training. It starts where classic physiotherapy ends: with the resilience you actually need for your sport. Typical concerns:
- Sports injuries as well as muscle and tendon injuries
- Returning after surgery, for example on the cruciate ligament or shoulder
- Recurring knee, hip or shoulder problems under load
- Muscular imbalances that keep leading to the same injuries
- Preparing for a competition, a season or a specific goal
What happens at your first appointment
We start with your sporting history: which sport, how much training, which injuries you have had and what you are working towards. Then we look at how you move under load — not only on the treatment table, but in the movements that matter for your sport.
This results in a plan with clear milestones, so you always know where you stand and what the next step is. Training takes place in our practice, accompanied by therapists who know your history.
Please bring: Sportswear and indoor shoes, any existing medical reports or surgery reports and, if you have one, your doctor’s prescription.
Billing
If you have a doctor’s prescription, we bill the physiotherapy parts to your statutory or private health insurance. Pure strength-building and prevention training is a self-pay service. We discuss openly at your first appointment how your case will be billed — before any costs arise.
