Osteopathy in Berlin-Wilmersdorf (Halensee)

Osteopathy looks at the body as a whole. Instead of only treating symptoms, we work with you to find the actual cause of your complaints – with gentle manual techniques that activate the body’s self-healing powers. Our practice has been an established address for osteopathy for many years.

Osteopathy treatment room

Our treatment focus

  • Craniosacral therapy – gentle work on the skull–pelvis system
  • Parietal therapy – treatment of muscles, joints and bones
  • Visceral therapy – treatment of the internal organs and their mobility
  • Fascia therapy – for mobile connective tissue
  • Atlas treatment – targeted work on the uppermost cervical vertebra

As a member of the Association of Osteopaths in Germany (Verband der Osteopathen Deutschland e.V.) we treat according to recognised professional standards – for patients of all ages, in everyday life or competitive sport. As osteopathy in Germany is mostly paid privately, we are happy to inform you about the scope of treatment and the costs during the first consultation.

What happens at your first appointment

The first appointment begins with a detailed conversation. We ask about your complaints, but also about previous injuries, operations, accidents and what your everyday life looks like. In osteopathy many things are connected that seem unrelated at first glance — which is why this part takes longer than you may be used to from other practices.

We then examine you with our hands: we feel tissue tension, mobility and movement patterns and look for connections between where you feel the complaint and possible causes elsewhere. We discuss what we find with you before we treat.

The first treatment follows. Reactions such as slight tiredness or a feeling similar to sore muscles in the following days are normal. How many appointments make sense can only be assessed reliably after the first treatment — we will tell you honestly if we feel osteopathy is not the right approach for your concern.

Please bring: comfortable clothing and any existing medical reports, doctor’s letters or imaging.

Costs and length of treatment

For your first appointment please allow 30 to 60 minutes and 95 euros . During this time we take your medical history, examine you thoroughly and then treat you.

Follow-up appointments usually take around 30 minutes and cost 75 euros.

In Germany, osteopathy is mainly a self-pay service. Many statutory health insurers reimburse part of the costs, but the rules differ from insurer to insurer. It is best to ask your health insurer before your appointment how much they will cover. If you have international or private health insurance, we are happy to provide a detailed invoice for reimbursement.
